The Infection Spreads - Abstract Trauma Brain Watercolor - Canvas Wall Art
We make things that work better and last longer. Our products solve real problems with clean design and honest materials.
The Infection Spreads is an abstract look inside the mind at the moment trauma begins to take hold. The mosaic‑like patches of color represent the different parts of the self — memory, emotion, identity, and lived experience. As the darker tones begin to spread through the form, the piece captures the early stages of internal disruption: the quiet shift, the creeping shadow, the way trauma settles in before we even realize what’s happening.
This artwork is not literal. It’s symbolic — a visual language for something that’s hard to explain in words. The bright colors show the parts of the mind that remain alive and vibrant, while the darkening areas reflect the slow, consuming spread of trauma’s impact.
The Infection Spreads is part of John Ganger’s ongoing exploration of PTSD, internal landscapes, and the unseen battles carried within.
