Marks the Spot - PTSD Journey Abstract Art - Canvas Wall Art
We make things that work better and last longer. Our products solve real problems with clean design and honest materials.
Marks the Spot is an original John Ganger watercolor created during a moment of searching—searching for the exact place in your mind where peace might live. It’s the dream of a mental landscape untouched by PTSD, a place where clarity, calm, and freedom exist without interruption. Whether that place is real or imagined doesn’t matter; what matters is the belief that it could exist.
The white “X” at the center stands as a symbol of that imagined destination—a point of light inside the darkness, a marker of hope. The surrounding colors swirl, blend, and collide, representing the emotional noise that makes that place feel distant or even impossible. Yet the X remains untouched, bright, and centered. It’s the reminder that even in the storm, there is a direction worth moving toward.
This piece captures the fragile, powerful moment when you begin to rise from darkness and dare to believe that healing might be possible.
